Program Overview
The TNPSC Group 4 Combined Civil Services Examination includes recruitment for the Village Administrative Officer (VAO). This entry-level exam recruits for clerical, typist, and administrative roles across the Tamil Nadu government. Selections are based purely on a single written exam followed by document verification—no interview is required
Eligibility Criteria Educational Qualification:
Must have passed 10th Standard (SSLC).Age Limit (VAO): 21 to 32 years for General category. Upper age limits are relaxed up to 40 years for reserved categories (SC, ST, BC, MBC, and Destitute Widows)
Exam Pattern & Syllabus
The written objective-type paper consists of 200 questions for a total of 300 marks. Candidates have 3 hours to complete the test
Part A (Tamil Eligibility-cum-Scoring Test): 100 questions (150 Marks). Requires a minimum of 40% (60 marks) to qualify.
Part B: General Studies (75 questions) and Aptitude & Mental Ability Test (25 questions) for a total of 100 questions (150 Marks)
